No More Cold Floors in Grahamsville, NY
When these homeowners called us they wanted a solution to the freezing cold floors they were experiencing! We were quick to send our expert team of crawlspace insulators to help this family and restore their peace of mind. Our team first started by insulating all of the exposed exterior walls with Foamax boards which were air-sealed with ZypFoam and further air-sealed with vapor barrier tape. Once the walls were properly insulated, our team of experts was then ready to encapsulate the crawlspace with our GoldSeal encapsulation system. They first started the installation of this system by laying down a drainage matt that will help with water mitigation if entered into the area. The matt was secured together by vapor barrier tape. Our team then completed the system by laying down our GoldSeal vapor barrier on top of the drainage matt in order to protect the space against any outside elements. Both were secured together by vapor barrier tape and will now protect this crawlspace from any affecting outside elements or temperature!

Upgrading Crawlspace in New Paltz, NY!
Before our team of crawlspace insulators arrived, this crawlspace was cold, damp, and affecting the temperatures of the floors above! When our experts arrived, they first began with removing the plastic that was once used to protect the crawlspace flooring and ceiling from water and any temperature-affecting leaky or unwanted air. They then insulated the exposed exterior walls with Foamax boards which were air-sealed with ZypFoam. Once the walls were insulated, our experts were then ready to encapsulate the crawlspace and diminish water mitigation into the area. Our experts installed our GoldSeal Encapsulation System by first laying down a drainage matt that was secured by vapor barrier tape, they then completed the system by securing a vapor barrier on top with vapor barrier tape. The combination of these creates an impenetrable space against any outside elements and water! This crawlspace will no longer affect the temperature of the floors above!

Before the arrival of our insulation experts, this family was suffering from freezing cold floors and wanted a solution that would restore their peace of mind. Our team of insulation experts was quick to arrive and fix this uncomfortable home! In order to help fix the problem of freezing cold floors, our team insulated all of the exposed exterior walls with foamax boards that were air-sealed with ZypFoam and further air-sealed with vapor barrier tape. Our team of highly trained and experienced crawlspace insulators then installed our encapsulation system by first laying down the drainage matt on the dirt floor of the crawlspace to help with water mitigation. Our experts secured different parts of the drainage matt together by using vapor barrier tape. Once finished our experts completed this system by securing the GoldSeal vapor barrier on top of the drainage matt and secured both together with vapor barrier tape. This system will protect the space against any outside elements and will no longer let any unwanted or leaky air that was once affecting the overall temperature into the space!

Before the arrival of our insulation experts, this family was suffering from an uncomfortable home. They told us here at Global Dwelling that their home seemed like it would never reach its desired temperature. We sent our team of experts to help fix this uncomfortable home! Upon the arrival of our insulation experts, they first began with removing and disposing of all of the old batt fiberglass insulation that was previously in the space. Once clear and free, our team was ready to air-seal the attic by using ZypFpoam. By using ZypFoam, our experts have sealed off leaky or unwanted air from getting into the space and affecting the overall temperature. Once the attic was air-sealed, our team was ready to upgrade this home with our premier method of insulation, blown-in cellulose! Not only is our method known to be energy efficient and cost-effective, but will now insulate this home up to an R-value of 60!
