Unfortunately, much of the energy consumed in the average Colorado household is wasted. This leads to excessive environmental pollution and an expensive energy bill. By adopting a few simple energy conservation techniques, however, Colorado residents can save money and help the environment.
Simply switching from incandescent light bulbs to Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs, for example, can lower your electric bill by $50 a year. Taking a step further and installing an energy efficient washing machine can reduce your home’s water usage by 35%. If every home in the U.S. used an energy efficient washing machine, it would cut water use by over 10 trillion gallons per year and save more electricity each year than is used to light every home in the nation. Amazing!
As you can see, small changes do add up. And the more you change, the more you’ll save. If you’d like to save hundreds, even thousands, of dollars each year on energy expenses AND do your part to help the environment, contact Dr. Energy Saver today. After our two hour Colorado home energy audit, we’ll be able to tell you exactly what's needed to improve energy efficiency in your home.
Whether you reside in Denver, Glenwood Springs, Fort Collins, or Cortez, and whether you’re in need of a large “green” home renovation or just a few simple eco-friendly changes, contact Dr. Energy Saver today!

Comment: My wife and I just moved here with our newborn son, and I want to make our new home as energy efficient as possible. I also want to be comfortable in our new home. When the heat is on, the air blowing through the vent in the upstairs master bedroom is significantly cooler than the other vents throughout the house. I also know the attic and crawl space need to be addressed for air leakage and proper insulation. I would like some estimates to improve the energy efficiency while keeping us safe from radon gas and moisture.
