  • Project Location Stamford, CT 06902
Comment Redoing my late parents house with a mix of old and new. Contractors I have dealt with on the project point the finger at each other on this issue. Had new roof, ridge vent put on. Had HVAC put in attic was told to have roof rafters insulated by hvac tech. Roofer recommend no that it would interfere with ventilation. That was not done. The insulation in the attic ceiling joists is in bad shape allow the attic to become warm and house loosing heat also causing snow to melt rapidly on the roof. Basically I now have HVAC in the attic with very bad Insulation. Would like to get some options.
