Comment: Our AC is working according to the AC repair man BUT the house doesn't cool down in the afternoon/early evenings - it's like we don't have any AC at all. The AC repair man said it may have to do with needing more insulation in the roof/AC unit area. We need someone with more experience in insulation to have a look.

Comment: Looking to fin a way to insulate a room in my home thats cold in the winter and hot in the summer

Project Location: Wethersfield, CT 06109

Comment: Additions onto house are incredibly cold in winter. One is a bathroom, and it caused freezing and bursting this last winter. Looking at insulating both rooms so they are warmer in the winter (and for the other room, cooler in the summer). Also, would love to have a look at the rest of the house to see how we can improve on our hot/cold retention. Thanks so much!

Comment: I just came across you website and videos after searching for how to install attic insulation properly. I recently purchased a home, back in Nov 2013, that was built in 1971, approx 2500 sq ft, raised ranch with upper and lower level with no basement. This past spring, I updated some of windows in front of the house and kitchen (4 bay windows and 8 double hung windows)because old windows were allowing to much cold air through them. I recently added new central air with brand new duct work (home never had central air conditioning). I am in process of trying to get a electrician to install two bathroom fans so we can insulate the attic. I just purchased about 72 rolls of R-30 attic insulation (sitting in my garage) from Home Depot, because they were on sale and because my attic barely has that much insulation. My dad and I were going to go ahead and start working in the attic in the next couple of weeks to lay down the insulation, but after seeing what your company has to offer, I am in a bind, only because I just want to do things right to get max efficiency. I am seeing here your company offers a home energy audit and other services as well. I just wanted to see if it could be possible to request an home energy audit and also, could your company install the installation I recently purchased??

Comment: We have an addition on our home that has always been prone to ice dams. After researching the internet, we have decided to have a Bylin Rim2 system installed to hopefully eliminate the ice dam problem but feel in conjunction with this we might want to improve the attic insulation. As such, we would like to talk to you about this possibility. Thank you. Dave
