I have recently had a service call with Thermo Cool and their assessment has shown that I have some leaks in my AC system. It is the original builder/developer AC system built in 2006, and I am told that it is a Freon-based system. By the assessment of Thermo Cool the cost of repair was unlikely to be worth the investment. I would like to obtain competitive estimates from other sources for this as it is a major purchase. I'm looking to get an estimate to replace my aging HVAC system. Are your techs NATE certified, do they follow the QI checklist during the estimate and the installation process. I have done a lot of research and have read many reviews about various brands of HVAC systems and have concluded that no matter what system is installed, installation is the key to performance and longevity of the system. If your techs determine what my needs are just by looking at the size of the system that I have now and do not follow the ACCA's Quality installation checklist for and estimate and installation, please do not follow up on my request for an estimate.
