Newton, IA 50208Our electric bill is through the roof in the winter. We had a new furnace and AC system installed last winter and our bill is still very high. The electric company shows that the average home in our area uses half what we do. We keep our heat at 68-70 degrees and there is only two of us in the house.

Newton, IA 50208My house does not hold its temperature well at all. I see a lot of heat getting lost thru the vent in the roof--far more than the houses around it. The water pipes freeze between floors. The ground floor sits above a crawl space & it's uncomfortably cold. My energy bills are High. I have a couple windows that don't latch well. During the hottest days in summer, the air conditioner runs all the time because it can't keep the house cool. I can DIY fix the windows, but alot of these problems are far beyond what I'm comfortable with working on myself. This place needs help.
