Comment: The bedroom above our garage is consistently 5 degrees cooler in winter and 5 degress hotter in summer than the rest of the house. Also, our gas fireplace lets in a ton of cold air in the winter, with the temperature near floor by the fireplace hovering around 40 degrees in the winter.
