Comment: I have a 1700 sqft home built in 1911. When I put my hand on the exterior walls of the home from inside, they are freezing cold. I noticed on the cedar siding there are large drill holes every few feet leading me to believe that the previous owner had more insulation blown in at some point. Needless to say that insulation has settled and is now making the house very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. I am interested in at least doing the first floor of the house with AirKrete to prevent further settling of insulation and creating a good vapor barrier too as I don't know the status of any tyvek on the home. I have not had an energy audit done but would love to hear your suggestions.

Comment: Though batting insulation in attic roof still works, it is 25-30 years old and appears to be collecting dust, dirt, etc.We would like to remove it and use rigid board insulation if possible. advice would be welcome.
