Roof Replacement in Frisco, TX

A March hailstorm prompted this Frisco homeowner to look beyond the damage that was already visible from the ground. The homeowner had noticed hail impacts on gutters, windows, and fencing and was concerned that the roof might also have been affected. Advantage Remodeling & Roofing inspected the property the next day using its documented 15-point inspection process. The roof inspection added several project-specific findings. Hail hits were identified at the chimney cap and roof vents or pipes, and roofing granules had collected in the gutters. Those observations shifted the project from a general concern about storm exposure to a documented roof-replacement decision. The work then proceeded through an insurance hail claim, and the full roof replacement was completed by the middle of May. The Before and After photos show the most visible part of that progression: the existing roof before replacement and the completed roofing surface afterward. On a home with multiple roof planes, a full replacement changes the appearance across the whole visible system rather than at one isolated patch. The finished roof gives the property a consistent surface after the storm-related inspection findings led to broader work. For Frisco homeowners, the sequence is especially useful because the decision did not begin with an automatic assumption that a new roof was needed. It began with visible exterior impacts, followed by a roof inspection that documented additional affected components. From there, the project moved through claim coordination and complete roof replacement. The result connects what the homeowner first noticed at ground level with what was found during inspection and the full reroof that followed.

Floor restoration after water damage in Plano, TX

An active leak around the chimney area led to more than exterior roofing work at this Plano home. After a major hailstorm, water traveled inside the house, moving down the walls and into the flooring. Once the leak area and exterior roofing items were addressed, the project continued indoors because the visible consequences of the water intrusion remained in the living space. The interior restoration included removal of the old flooring layers, replacement of baseboards, and painting of the walls to coordinate with the renewed finishes. Those details give the Before and After images a clear project story. The Before condition reflects a floor area affected by water and opened for restoration work. The After image shows a continuous finished floor surface with the surrounding trim returned to a completed condition. The work was also documented as part of the same insurance claim and deductible connected with the storm loss. That relationship is important because the interior floor work followed an exterior leak rather than beginning as a stand-alone flooring renovation. The sequence links the roof-area problem directly to the work required inside the home. For Plano homeowners, the project shows how one water-intrusion event can cross from roofing into interior restoration. A roofing issue may have to be stabilized first, but the homeowner is still left with damaged flooring, baseboards, and wall finishes until the inside is rebuilt. This project moved from exterior leak-related work to removal of affected floor layers, new baseboards, wall painting, and a completed interior floor surface. The After view closes the loop on a loss that began above the living space and ended with the room visibly restored.
