Our installation crew got started by laying a Drainage Matting across the dirt floor of the crawlspace. This layer rests just off the surface of the floor to create small channels that moisture can flow through without becoming trapped. The water will pool up in the natural low point of the space on its own to drain harmlessly back into the ground. Next, a CleanSpace liner was used to encapsulate the entire interior of the crawlspace. CleanSpace Wall System was installed to act as a vapor barrier where needed and channel any additional moisture from the walls to the WaterGuard. A SmartSump was installed to capture groundwater and pump it out of the crawl space through the new Exterior Buried Discharge line. The Discharge line takes the water far from the home and protects the system against ice buildup with the installation of IceGuard. SprayFoam was installed along the rim joists, and the system was finished after a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed. The SaniDry Sedona keeps the humidity in the crawl space at a safe level and drains directly to the SmartSump, so the homeowner never has to worry about emptying a bucket of water to keep it running. Now the homeowner is able to use their crawl space for storage, and they no longer have to worry about mold in their crawl space causing issues in there home.

We also installed a SuperSump Plus which pumps water out of the basement through an Exterior Buried Discharge line and takes the water far away from the home. The whole system is protected against ice buildup during winter with the installation of IceGuard on the Discharge line. This ensures that the system will always run, preventing flooding when snow melts. To finish out the waterproofing system, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to keep the humidity in the crawlspace at a safe level, preventing musty smells and mold growth.
