The owners of this rental property were concerned about large lateral cracks running through the walls in their basement. Cracks were becoming so deep that water damage was an imminent threat. Bowing of the walls had also occurred, and it was apparent to them that it needed to be fixed. In hopes of saving their rental property, they reached out to DBS to find a solution.

A concern that was raised in this project was how close the neighboring homes are, which is why the PowerBrace™ system was a great solution for this property because it does not require any exterior excavation in order to be installed.

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation of this project with his team, and together they successfully installed 6 PowerBrace™ beams to correct bowing and cracking that had occurred over time. Our patented PowerBrace™ solution's unique design allows for it to be tightened over time during dry periods in an attempt to straighten the wall.
