From there, the DBS foreman and production team installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier to protect the space from moisture. SilverGlo™ insulation was also installed sealing the space from cold air during cold winter months.

After inspecting the home and performing infrared heat measuring tests it was concluded that the walls did not have proper insulation. DBS has a solution called dense-packed insulation which does not require drywall removal and dramatically increases the efficiency of the home. Small 1-inch ports are cut into the home and Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation is applied inside the walls. After the insulation is installed the holes are covered with siding and are completely hidden!
