This homeowner in Pequot Lakes, MN was tired of feeling like he was hitting a speed bump every time he pulled into his garage. The uneven concrete wasn’t just annoying—it was a safety concern and a daily reminder of a bigger issue beneath the surface. Our team restored his peace of mind by lifting and leveling the slab with PolyLevel® and sealing the joints with NexusPro® to prevent water intrusion and future settlement. Now, his garage entry is smooth, safe, and stress-free.
This auto shop had a concrete floor that had sunken over time and was causing issues with water draining into the area equipment becoming unlevel. From the photos shown you can see the white line across the ground layer of concrete blocks where the floor had separated from the wall. In order to be level with the original position this floor needed to be raised back to level with the bottom row of blocks. After injecting our PolyLevel system under the concrete slab we were able to bring the slab back to it original position and level with the bottom row of bricks. With this floor now level the mechanics no longer have to worry about large amounts of water or fluids collecting here and they can set their tools and parts on the floor without worrying about them rolling off.
In Brainerd, MN, this homeowner wanted to eliminate a trip hazard that posed a risk to their young granddaughter, seeking peace of mind. As you can see in the before photo, the uneven concrete was a major concern. Our team utilized PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete, and NexusPro to seal the joints, ensuring a smooth, seamless finish. Notice in the after photo the dramatic transformation – a safe, durable surface restoring this family's peace of mind.
This homeowner contacted DBS after noticing settling and cracking in the rear of their garage and basement beneath it. With the garage floor made of concrete spanning over the basement, and the property located on the Mississippi River with limited access due to a retaining wall drop-off, the challenge lies in stabilizing and lifting the rear wall of the garage. Our Design Specialist, Mike Horvath, went out to the property and recommended our concrete repair services.
Our crew went out to the property and installed our PolyLevel® filling underneath the front apron to help lift the concrete, and then went in with our NexusPro® sealant to seal up the crack resulting in a stable rear wall and a level, sealed garage apron.
