After receiving a free home energy audit from Halco, this King Ferry, NY customer decided to take a step towards improving the energy efficiency of her home. Because the crawl space of the home wasn't properly insulated, the space was a major source of air infiltration and heat loss. Halco technicians insulated the crawl space walls and rim joist with closed-cell spray foam and also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier to the floor. This newly sealed and insulated crawl space will help prevent mold and moisture problems, and will make the home more comfortable and energy efficient!  

This Newfield, NY customer contacted Halco because he could smell the sulfur in his water and was looking for a solution. After providing a no-cost estimate, we returned to install a sulfur removal system along side a v-100 pressure tank. This customer was very pleased with the completed project.

When the inducer motor failed on this Newfield, NY homeowner's water heater, he contacted Halco for a replacement. After speaking with the customer, we installed this 40-gallon ProLine XE Power Vented water heater, engineered to maximize efficiency!

We received a service call to take a look at this customer's old, leaking, oil-burning, water heater.  After offering the customer both repair and replacement options, they decided that it was time for a newer, more energy-efficient unit!  This Lansing, NY water heater replacement job included a new 60 gallon hybrid heat pump water heater, which works by drawing in heat from the ambient air to keep the water hot. This new heat pump water heater can max out at up to 250% efficiency, while oil-burning units are at best 87% energy-efficient.
