Another set of before and afters where it just goes to show that some insulation can go a long way. All of those nooks and crannies that could potentially let air escape or enter are where spray foam insulation is going to protect you and your home. It's all sealed now and good luck trying to find any places at all in those walls where air is going to be able to pass through.
This homeowner in Van Etten, NY was facing chilly winters and unbearably hot summers. Our energy assessment showed the homeowner that a lot of the heat and cool air was escaping through the attic due to a lack of insulation and proper sealing. We proposed to remove the inadequate fiberglass batts first, then air seal the attic before open blowing 12 inches of our TruSoft Cellulose.
This Waverly, NY mobile home had an underside that was in poor shape due to pipe leaks in the past. The existing fiberglass had fallen down to the ground in many spots.
We proposed to take out all the fallen down fiberglass and spray 3 inches of our Closed Cell Spray Foam to the underside of the mobile home to give adequate insulation to the home. Cold floors will be a thing of the past for this homeowner!

2 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the foundation walls. Along with other aspects of the project this will contribute to improving the comfort of the home and will help with energy efficiency.
