This is a side attic in Endicott, NY that was not insulated.

In this case, 4 inches of closed-cell spray foam on the roof decks was the best solution.  As one part of a larger project, it made a big difference for the homeowner.

The owner of this Endicott, NY home had a crawl space he wanted to insulate.

We removed the old fiberglass insulation and replaced it with closed cell spray foam.  The floor above this space will now be much more comfortable and energy efficient.

The owners of this Endicott, NY home had plans to eventually finish their attic and turn it into a living space.

3 inches of closed cell foam were applied to the roof deck and gables end allowing the homeowner to sheetrock the space and finish it.

Part of that was making the attic more secure.  We accomplished that with an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation.

This Endicott, NY home had some cellulose insulation in the attic.

It had 4 inches but that isn't adequate to properly insulate an attic.  We did an open blow of 10 additional inches of cellulose, creating a better-insulated space.
