The attic was air sealed underneath the existing insulation then 10 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in. The air sealing and additional insulation will help improve the comfort of the home and increase energy efficiency.
This Cape Cod style home in Endicott, NY had side attics that needed insulation.
4 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the roof deck and 2 inches was sprayed to the gable ends of the attics. As a result, the home will now be both more comfortable and more energy efficient.

A recent fire left this Endicott home needing a full gut renovation. That gave us the opportunity to step in and install 2" of closed-cell spray foam—helping the home stay comfortable and energy-efficient year-round.
This attic was insulated with TruSoft Insulation after the pre-existing fiberglass insulation was removed. Fiberglass insulation does not properly air seal homes so the removal of the fiberglass and the installation of the TruSoft Insulation will now completely insulate, air seal, and protect the home from the outside conditions.
