Attic space transformed into perfect storage area. Under decking insulated with SilverGlo foam board insulation and borders insulated with 5" of blown in cellulose.
We used Dr. Energy Saver premium TruSoft™ cellulose insulation to blow insulation to the optimum R-value. TruSoft™ will not burn, get moldy, or attract pests. Blown insulation fills all gaps and odd shaped voids. By by filling over framing members, “thermal bridging” is avoided.
A customer called because there was little to no insulation discovered in the attic after a roof replacement. Our Home Comfort Specialist, Ryan, visited the home and conducted a free consultation and proposed solutions for the homeowner. For this project, the Triple H Production Team air sealed the attic floor and encapsulated the duct system with Tight 'N' True polyurethane spray foam, then installed a mechanical access catwalk platform to contain the cellulose insulation and for easy attic access to storage. Finally, the team insulated the attic floor with 10" of TruSoft Cellulose and installed an airtight and insulated zipper-lined attic tent at the access door to prevent drafts and maintain optimum comfort. The homeowner will now be able to sustain maximum comfort in the house.
A homeowner from Brightwaters, NY, called Triple H because the lower levels of the home are significantly colder, and rooms in the house are drafty and either too hot or too cold. Our Home Comfort Specialist Brian visited to perform an assessment of insulation levels in the home and provided a solution to make the basement warmer in the winter. The Triple H crew air sealed the basement rim joist with closed-cell spray foam, then applied SilverGlo insulation board on the walls. The homeowner will now have a more efficient and comfortable living space through all seasons.
