This customer in East Rockaway had requested a Free Home Energy Assessment. Upon completion of the assessment it was determined that this home had little to no insulation in the exterior walls. This causes the homeowner to have colder rooms and feel discomfort. To improve the comfort of this home we dense packed the exterior walls with cellulose insulation. This homeowner now has warmer rooms and is more comfortable. 

This is what a Properly Insulated Attic should look like. The Triple H Crew went in and removed all the old insulation in the attic. They then air sealed all the air leaks to prevent drafts. After air sealing the team then added a barrier to contain the new insulation coming in. Then they blew in new cellulose insulation to the optimum R-value. Making a less drafty, warmer, more comfortable home.

"Can lights" are holes in the ceiling. Air leaks between the fixture and the drywall, and through the fixture itself because of the many holes and seams in it.  Dr. Energy Saver’s™ TiteShell™ Can Light Covers are installed over your can lights, fitted around wires and fixture struts, and sealed air-tight with expanding foam. TiteShell™ covers are safe from the fire hazards of hot bulbs and fixtures. Once TiteShells™ are installed, TruSoft™ insulation can be blown into the attic against and over them, eliminating costly gaps in insulation and adding R-value. Results are less drafts and more comfortable rooms, and a tighter more energy efficient home.

A homeowner from Roslyn Heights, NY called our office. He was aware that he had no attic insulation. He knew that it was why his home was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. He also was spending a ton of money heating and cooling his home.  Our Home Comfort Consultant Bill met with the homeowner and was able to provide the perfect solutions for making his home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The attic needed to be air sealed, the duct work needed to be encapsulated and insulation needed to be installed. Triple H installed all the suggestion measures. The home is now more comfortable and efficient. 

This customer in Mineola requested a free home energy assessment.This customer was also interested in using his attic for storage. Upon completion of the assessment it was determined that this home could benefit from proper insulation while creating a usable storage area. Triple H Contracting built a Super Deck. A super deck is a new layer of wood followed by 1 layer of 2 inch Silverglo with one more layer of wood on top.  Cellulose insulation is then used to insulate under the floor. An attic tent was also installed to make the attic entry air tight. The customer now has a usable storage area with out sacrificing the ability to properly insulate their home. The home will now be more comfortable as well as more efficient.
