Vienna VA Home Remodel with Insulation

This Vienna VA home was being remodeled and had its interior frame stripped down to allow for installation of more modern insulation products.  Our team started working in the attic before addressing the inside of the walls in the rooms below.  Old insulation was removed and the attic was air sealed with Zyp Foam in order to control unwanted air flow in and out of the space.  A new attic floor decking was constructed by our team along with damning/walls to hold in the Tru Soft Cellulose Insulation that would later be blown in.  A zippered Attic Tent door cover was installed to properly seal up the attic door and control air loss from the rooms below.  The final result for the attic was a thick layer of insulation and a more energy efficient top floor of the home.  The floor/decking would allow for storage space and the ability to walk around the attic.

Attic Insulation in Mclean, Va

This customer in Mclean, VA called us as they wanted to add more insulation in the attic.  We did air sealing to stop the air leakage, as well as built plywood dams to keep the insulation in place and off the newly built storage deck.  New decking was installed for storage and air sealed at the seams.  Insulation was upgraded to R60. The result of doing this is better insulation & air sealing keeping the house warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Brambleton, VA Insulation Installation

This Brambleton, VA home had just recently finished construction. The owners had no air sealing or insulation in their attic causing the home to get way too hot. Our sales professional Jonathan went out to perform a full home inspection and then gave the homeowners a list of solutions they could choose from. The homeowners ended up deciding to air seal the attic and get TruSoft cellulose insulation installed to keep their home comfortable. Our service crews went out to the property and got to work applying ZypFoam air sealant to all of the seams in the attic floor. This would keep the conditioned air contained within the living spaces in the home and prevent the uncontrolled unconditioned attic air from making the home less comfortable. After they finished air sealing the attic they began installing the new TruSoft cellulose insulation. This cellulose insulation would keep the home from getting too hot during the summers and too cold during the winters making sure the home stays comfortable year-round

Purcellville, VA Attic Upgrade

This Purcellville, VA home was suffering from rooms that were too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. This was having a serious negative impact on the comfort level of the home. When our sales professional Jason went out to the property to perform a full home inspection, he determined that the best course of action to end their discomfort would be to air seal the attic add new insulation and install a radiant barrier. Jason explained to the homeowners that the primary cause of their discomfort was the insufficient insulation. After the homeowners agreed to Jason's solution our service crews went out to get to work on the home. The crews started by removing the old insulation. Then they Applied ZypFoam air sealant to make sure the attic wouldn't have any air leaks. After that, they installed the new insulation. Finally, the crew installed the radiant barriers to reduce the temperature in the attic.
