Carlos joined Comfenergy and 3 Pros Basement Systems in January 2022 after several years of working for a granite and marble business.  Prior to that, he spent time in the restaurant industry working for a major seafood chain.  Part of what Carlos enjoys about working here is the ability to learn new skills and help to solve problems or develop new solutions. 

 

In his free time, Carlos enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his little sister.

Old crumpled pieces of paper and newspapers were used as a wasted attempt to insulate this attic.
This will be tightened and then covered in spray foam to seal and insulate.
This thin layer of insulation was serving no purpose. Our production team would later remove it and air seal the space before adding a thicker layer of blown cellulose insulation.
This old insulation and floor planking would be removed in order to air seal the attic floor.
The old fiberglass insulation inside of the cantilever had been working like a filter, collecting dust, dirt and allergens as uncontrolled air flowed in and out of the home.
Different areas of the attic had different insulation stuffed in between the framing with gaps between that allowed air to move.
After blowing in the Rock Wool insulation, the holes in the walls are capped and sealed.
The existing opening to this attic was just a wooden door with nothing sealing the air around it.
