Aaron joined us here at Comfenergy and 3 Pros Basement Systems after working for a local heating & air conditioning company, where he was an Indoor Air Qualify Technician/Energy Auditor for two years. He'll be using his HVAC service knowledge and experience to help discover the source of homeowners comfort and energy problems as a member of our Home Performance Sales team. Aaron is a Contractor Nation Certified Home Inspector.

Fiberglass insulation stuffed between the framing of the attic was not keeping air flow from happening. The dirty sections of the insulation show where dirt and dust are trapped in the insulation while moving through the attic air.
Humidity and organic material can lead to mold and other growth in an attic. This was in the beginning stages and would be able to be treated with MoldX Botanical spray.
Old and inefficient insulation can lead to an uncomfortable house. In this attic, the insulation needed to be at least 10 inches deeper and should cover the ducts and pipes.
The space below this sun room was open air and allowed external temperatures to impact the feeling inside of the room.
