Since I changed out my 2.5 ton system for a 3 ton system our home stays at a nice and comfortable temperature! Before we did the change out, I had to set the thermostat on 68 degrees to keep my home cool in the summer; now I can set the thermostat on 72-74 degrees and my home stays nice and cool.
