Our customer reached out to our company after having a contractor inform her that her attic had mold. The new addition also needed insulation. We blown in 14" or R49 of TruSoft Cellulose and used Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanicals to remediate the mold.

Our customers home was on the market to sell and a buyers inspection showed a mold like substance on the sheathing and trusses of the attic space. Our company came in and remediated to mold using Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanical products. We also clear all soffit vents of debris and added new rafter baffles to correct the ventilation. They were happy to have completed in a timely manner so the sale could be completed. 

The homeowner explained that he had just moved into the home and the upstairs of his home was much hotter in the summertime compared to the lower level of his house. The heater would also come right back on after shutting off. In the summer it would be 5-10 degrees warmer than the main floor. The problem was caused by the knee wall on the West facing side of the home lacking a proper thermal barrier, allowing the radiant heat from the roof to transfer into the knee wall and into the conditioned part of the home. 

This attic was in need of an upgrade, we were able to add to the R-Value, remediate the present mold and place baffles properly to ensure the attic could 'breathe'.
