These homeowners in Two Harbors, MN were experiencing multiple problems in their home's crawl space. Design Specialist Zach Guilliams assisted the homeowners in a free, no-obligation estimate in order to find the perfect solution for their home. After a careful inspection, Zach suggested the homeowners encapsulate their crawl space to diminish the issues they were experiencing.

Foreman Raeshawn Pelfrey led the installation of this project along with a team. The team started by installing draining matting to help standing pools of the water drain out effectively. This was accompanied by our SmartDrain® System that will remove the water from the crawl space. The team then installed CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier to create a dry, clean finish. SprayFoam insulation will also be installed on the walls in order to keep the space warm and provide an extra moisture barrier.

Once the crew installs the SprayFoam insulation on the walls, this crawl space will be in pristine condition for the homeowners.

One of our crews led by a Foreman installed our WaterGuard® french drain system in the basement and a new sump pump to help keep the space drier. Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went out to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment for the homeowner. After taking several measurements, Rich created a quote for our WaterGuard® and sump pump waterproofing systems.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed the WaterGuard® french drain system around the interior perimeter of the basement and covered the drains with concrete for a smooth finish (the concrete is wet at the time the after the photo was taken for this project). They also installed a new sump pump with a backup battery in case the power goes out during a rainstorm. The sump pump paired with the WaterGuard® system will ensure that the basement stays drier.

Now that the basement has been waterproofed, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
