To resolve this, we installed our WaterGuard® and CleanSpace® systems to tackle the moisture issues at their source. The after photo demonstrates the remarkable transformation—a dry, ready-to-be-finished basement that’s now prepared for the homeowner’s vision to come to life. This project reinforces that no dream is too big when you have the right solutions in place.

In Ely, MN, a homeowner faced a daunting crawl space full of moisture and mold, seeking a solid fix. Before, the dark and damp can be clearly seen, a perfect breeding ground for mold. After consulting other experts, they turned to us. We introduced our CleanSpace® technology coupled with the SaniDry™ Sedona system, visibly transforming the area into a dry, clean, and healthy space. The DBS Team tackled a messy crawlspace in Eveleth, Minnesota using Cleanspace to make a healthy, safe, and efficient crawlspace. 

In Eveleth, MN, this homeowner faced a challenging and damp crawlspace, jeopardizing their home's health and comfort, as visible in the 'before' photo. After a free, no-obligation inspection was set up with our Appointment Center, one of our Design Specialists went out to take a look. Our production team got to work installing our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Notice in the 'after' photo how this solution not only transforms but secures the crawlspace against future moisture problems.

This home in Solon Springs, WI had been in the family for nearly 50 years. The crawl space support beams were failing and the homeowner was in need of a permanent solution. They contacted DBS after learning about our crawl space support systems.

DBS Design Specialist Nathan Schroeder went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the foundation support work. Nathan saw failure of the existing support system and recommended installing SmartJack® stabilization beams to offer a permanent solution. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Taylor Allen and his production crew.

This crawl space support system consisted of 38 feet of supplement steel beam, running parallel to the crawl space dirt floor. From there, they installed 9 SmartJack® telescoping support posts. To encapsulate the dirt crawl space, they installed a vapor barrier called CleanSpace®. This thick poly sheet is place on top of a drainage matting layer and will assist in keep the dirt floor free from moisture build-up.

Finally, our crew applied closed-cell spray foam to the rim joists in the crawl space to insulate and air seal the space. This will prevent cold air, pests, and water from entering the space. Ultimately, this will protect the foundation, and allow for a more energy efficient home.

This home can now be enjoyed without worry of further structural damage!
