Excluding All the Entry Points from Rodents in Princeton, NJ

We're returning to this office building in Princeton, NJ, for a follow up visit for mice. Previously, we installed a number of rodent bait stations around the exterior and throughout the interior of the building. For this visit, we're going to check up on each of the bait stations and replenish them.

Since there were multiple openings and gaps around several utility pipes, we're going to exclude them! First, we're going to stuff each one with chew-proof stainless metal mesh. Rodents typically don't like chewing through metal because it's extremely uncomfortable for their teeth and gums. Afterward, we're going to seal them with a waterproof, premium adhesive.

Once we're finished, we're going to schedule several more follow up visits to replenish the bait stations and monitor the mice activity until they are no longer infesting the property.

Preventing the Bats from Getting Back Into the Attic in Rocky Hill, NJ

This homeowner in Rocky Hill, NJ had a problem - several bats were infesting her attic and causing a mess! So she contacted Little Rascals and we were sent out. In a short amount of time, we had successfully and safely removed all the bats that had infested her home. All that's left was to prevent them, and any other nuisance wildlife, from getting back in.

The first thing we did was disinfect the entire attic. Afterward, since the bats were entering the attic through the gable vent, we installed a louvered vent over the gable vent. A louvered vent guard is made out of heavy-duty Galvannealed steel. It won't rust, is customized to accommodate vents of all shapes and sizes, and properly secures the gable vents from bats, birds, and all nuisance wildlife!

Groundhogs Getting Under Porch in Rocky Hill, NJ

This customer in Rocky Hill, NJ had a problem with several groundhogs nibbling on her plants and garden, and then harboring underneath her porch! After searching on the internet, she came across Little Rascals, called our office, and we were sent out to inspect and treat.

As we inspected the porch, we found several burrows made by the groundhogs around the porch. In order to safely retrieve them, we installed several positive sets over each one of the burrows and then installed Dig Defense® around the entire perimeter of the porch. A positive set is a device that's comprised of a nose cone that is attached to a two-gaited, heavy-duty device. The nose cone will guide the groundhogs safely into the heavy-duty device. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the groundhogs will enter the devices! Dig Defense® is a below-ground fence system that is 15 inches deep, 4 feet across, and protects structures against all wildlife!

A short while after setting up our devices, we safely retrieved all of the groundhogs and then moved them to a new, safer location. We then installed another portion of Dig Defense® over the burrows and then placed a brand new lattice around the porch! Now the area is not only properly protected from groundhogs, but all nuisance wildlife too!

Installing a New Chimney Cap in Bernardsville, NJ

After we successfully & safely removed all the squirrels from this home in Bernardsvile, NJ, we're going to exclude them from the area that they were using to enter the home - the chimney. How are we going to do that? By installing a chimney cap over the chimney crown! This heavy-duty material is constructed out of 24 Gauge Top and Flange, and 18 Gauge Stainless steel!

Now the area is properly secured from not just squirrels, but all nuisance wildlife and nuisance birds too!

Taking Down a Huge Bald-Faced Hornets Nest in Bernardsville, NJ

Recently, we were sent out on a service call for a new customer in Bernardsville, NJ to treat and remove a hornets nest. The owner stated that the nest was "big" and it was attached to her downspout. Well, when we arrived and spotted the nest, we determined that the term "big" was an understatement! The nest was MASSIVE and full of angry bald-faced hornets!

Bald-faced hornets are one of the most aggressive and territorial stinging insects out there. If anything comes within close proximity to their nest, they will attack it! So we equipped our protective bee suit and treated the nest with a knockdown liquid and a knockdown dusting application. Both of these treatments will rapidly exterminate the bald-faced hornets.

A short while later we removed the nest, disposed of it, and then treated the area with a liquid residual. This application will neutralize any bald-faced hornets that return to the area as well as prevent them, and any other stinging insect, from building another nest.
