Eliminating Water and Mildew from Basement in Ocean Gate, NJ

Before:

Looking in the basement we can see exposed earth, water and unwanted moisture.  With exposed earth, gases like Radon may cause an unhealthy environment in the basement.

After:

A heavy duty 20 Mil Clean Space Liner is installed over the exposed earth and sealed properly.  We finished the basement by installing insulation to the basement walls called FOMAX.  These rigid boards are fire rated and helps contain moisture migrating into the walls.  Using the Orange ZypFoam to seal any seams helps keep the basement insulated and sealed properly.

With the proper liners installed and sealed, we eliminated any unhealthy gases in the basement.  We have also prevented water and moisture building up through the walls and floors.  Not to mention that the heavy duty liner is durable enough to walk on and a place for storage.

Attic Insulation and Sealed Storage Deck in Ocean Gate, NJ

Before:

After:

With a clean attic we now have plenty of storage space.  Using Orange ZypFoam we air sealed the attics seams.  The storage deck was properly insulated underneath with TruSoft, Cellulose.  We separated the floor deck with Dams to keep the insulation properly in place.

The results show a clean attic that is properly air sealed and insulated.  This will keep your house comfortable from the extreme temperatures outside.

Insulating and Sealing a Leaky Attic House Fan in Wall, NJ

A homeowner in Wall Township, NJ had an uninsulated and leaky whole-house fan in their attic. Uninsulated and leaky fans allow conditioned air to escape into the attic or unconditioned spaces, leading to comfort issues, increased energy waste and higher energy bills. To address this issue, we installed our David Lewis Whole House Fan Cover on top of the fan. By pumpkin cutting the top and installing hinges, we created a functional door with a string for easy opening. This allows the homeowner to control airflow, opening the fan hatch to let air in when needed. When closed, the fan door seals the cover, providing insulation and preventing leaks. Now, this homeowner enjoys a properly insulated and sealed house fan, reducing attic leaks, improving home comfort, and saving energy.
