An existing customer in Madison, NJ called Pipe Works Services with a request to put in a ductless unit in their basement. Our comfort specialist Rob was dispatched and looked over the space and determined a Mitsubishi Ductless Unit was an option. The customer choose to have Pipe Works Services Install a Mitsubishi Unit with 2 heads. These units save customers money on their energy bills using optimum coolant flow through it's line-set instead of big duct work.

A past customer from Madison, NJ called into Pipe Works Services because they had some deposits on faucet and in the water. Pipe Works technician Pablo was dispatched and diagnosed the problem. Even though they have a Halo conditioning water system, it would not 100% remove all sediment and debris in water lines, specifically with old piping and varied water conditioning entering the home. Pablo recommended cleaning and flushing the lines so the Rinnai tankless water heater would have a better chance of an extended life.

A frequent customer of Pipe Works Services called in regarding her air conditioning unit not turning on. The customer stated the thermostat was working but the communication between the thermostat and and unit was not. Pipe Works Services technician Zach was able to diagnose that the coil pan was cracked and the unit needed to be replaced. Our System Design Specialist Rob M provided all the options to the customer. Our customer had a failing boiler and as you can see from this photo, chaotic piping. The existing system set up was taking up a lot of room on the floor and the piping was an obstacle. As a result the wiring connecting everything created another element of confusion. Our System Design Specialist and Installation technicians came up with a very efficient system that is visually and functionally superior to the existing set up in the customers home. They also installed plywood to the basement wall to create stability for the piping.

Our technicians removed the existing sump pump pit and installed new DES closed lid sump pump pit. They backfilled around the entire pit with 3/4 blue stone and installed new Zoeller M-53 sump pump alert system with a new check valve as well. They tested the discharge and noticed the 4 inch pvc line tied to the discharge was backed up. They spoke with the contact person and she will get the maintenance done on the lieder piping cleared.
