Electrical Service Installation in Penn Yan, NY
This Penn Yan, NY customer called us out to her home because she was having issues with her boiler constantly tripping the breaker in her old pushmatic 60 amp panel box. Our electrician arrived and immediately noticed several other issues that needed to be addressed; most notably the existing panel box was located directly behind the home's water softener and the service was grounded improperly. We addressed this by installing a new 200 amp service 3 ft. away from her old box to allow ample clearance from the water softener and corrected the grounding issue. We also removed a secondary pole off of the customer's property that fed the electric line to the house and replaced it with this new pipe riser.
Air Source Heat Pump for Ithaca, NY Customer
This Ithaca, NY customer found Halco through the HeatSmart Tompkins program, a campaign designed to promote non-fossil fuel alternatives. We upgraded the customer from a propane forced air furnace to a cold climate heat pump and now there is one less fossil fuel appliance in the house!

Vanity and Faucet Replacement in Phelps, NY
This Phelps, NY customer called Halco for an estimate on replacing her vanity and building it into the counter, including replacing all of the shutoffs. The customer was so satisfied with the work preformed that she signed up for our annual maintenance plans for her plumbing, furnace and A/C!
Water System Upgrade in Phelps, NY
This Phelps, NY customer contacted Halco because her water was beginning to smell, and she suspected her current filtration system was not working properly. Our tech tested the water and found the hardness to be 90 gpg, the iron to be 5.0 ppm, and the total dissolved solids to be 1000 mg/L, all extremely high levels. The water filtration system she had was not equipped to handle this water quality so we returned to install a twin tank water softener and an iron removal system. We also installed a reverse osmosis system with connections to the ice maker and kitchen sink, which will provide bottle quality water to the customer!
