Air sealing is important in stopping drafts from entering the home through gaps, cracks, recession lights and other areas of the attic. Installers at Primary Home Improvements first extracted the old fiberglass insulation and then worked to air seal it using foam packs. These spray foam packs permanently seal the area and prevent air infiltration. Air sealing before blowing in new cellulose insulation set this attic up for success! 

This homeowner struggled with insulating their home. The source of the problem: the attic. Their attic was filled with degraded, settled insulation and needed to be cleaned out due to rodent infestation. Primary Home Improvements not only extracted the old, gross insulation, but also air sealed and blew-in cellulose at a high R-Value. Now this attic is sanitized, protected from drafts and properly insulated. 

We replaced flattened fiberglass with dense TruSoft cellulose in order to leave this homeowner with a functional, energy-efficient home! 

By replacing the degraded, settled cellulose with TruSoft cellulose, this homeowner can now enjoy a comfortable and energy-efficient home! 

This attic in Stow was in need of new insulation. We removed all of the old fiberglass insulation and disposed of it. Then, we installed TruSoft Cellulose. This blown-in insulation easily fits in all the nooks and crannies of this attic. This home is now much more energy efficient and the homeowner is thrilled!
