Most houses are made with an unsealed crawl space access. A slew of problems come along with an open crawl space. They are easy access for critters and bugs, they can fill up with water, and weeds can start growing inside them. During the winter cold air can leak in, causing the floors above to become cold. They are also a fall and trip hazard!

This BEFORE photo shows a crawl space access better than most we see.  This homeowner chose to install the Turtl™ crawl space access system.  It is an airtight door with a sealed access well, all in one durable unit.  It is airtight and water tight, very sturdy, and will never rust, rot, or need to be painted.

The attic in new-to-this-family home in Roseburg, OR was only partially insulated when they moved in. To help them make their home more comfortable to live in, our expert insulation crew first removed all the old insulation you see in the BEFORE photo.

Before blowing in TruSoft™ cellulose insulation to the higher R-60 value, the crew sealed all the air leak areas to help prevent air from the home escaping in to the attic.  With this nice insulation “blanket” in the attic, their new home is much more comfortable to live in!

The owners of this condominium needed the crawl space insulated as the previous owner had removed it (see BEFORE photo). Besides getting the underfloor re-insulated, our crew installed a new 6-mil vapor barrier.

The old aluminum-framed windows on this mobile home were cold and drafty. By replacing them with Simonton's Verona series of vinyl windows, they are more comfortable in their home, plus they look much better!

To help sell this Oakland, OR home, the insulation and vapor barrier under the home needed to be replaced. Our expert insulation crew removed the existing insulation and vapor barrier rather than just covering over what was there! They then re-insulated under the floor and installed a new plastic 6-mil vapor barrier.

The house sold very quickly after this work was done.
