Lisa was having issues with keeping her St Clairsville, Ohio home warm in the winter.  Russ came out for a free in home estimate and showed Lisa were she was loosing all of her warm air.   

The HES team showed up and installed an insulation scuttle cover to air seal the hatch with SilverGlo foam insulation.  They then air sealed the attic and installed blown in TurSoft Cellulouse on the attic floor.    All of this will help stop the warm air from escaping Lisa's home keeping it more comfortable and affordable.

Edward  from St Clairsville  called saying he has mold in his crawl space and would also like to know how he can make rooms above crawlspace more comfortable. Russel went out to inspect for microbial growth and to perform a free energy audit. When he arrived he found old molded batt insulation, wire and plumbing runs unsealed and an uninsulated door to the crawl space.

Our mold Team arrived and prepared the space for treatment. They removed and disposed of all old insulation, used a surface and substrate cleaner for the removal of organic contamination and ran HEPA vac. Our insulation team then installed cleanspace encapsulation system with drainage matting, terrablock floor insulation and silverglo. Last installed a Dr Energy saver insulated door to access the crawl space.

Staci from St Clairsville Oh called Home Environment Solutions stating that she is never comfortable in her home. She says it stays colder in the winter and warmer in the summer. We sent Russ out to perform a free home energy audit to determine what is needed to make her home more comfortable.  Russ found old fiberglass batt insulation, uninsulated and unsealed scuttle cover and many other penetrations that let air escape.

 Remove And Dispose Of Existing Insulation. Attic is prepared for installation of fresh, clean insulation.  Our team air sealed and insulated Scuttle Cover, sealed chimney chase with metal flashing, fire caulk and wrapped with rock wool sleeve. Air sealed with Zypfoam all penetrations.  Installed SilverGlo™ on wall and between floor joists as needed and they also applied Trusoft cellulose to the attic floor
