Our team focused on tightening the attic and improving insulation performance where Cape Cod homes commonly lose energy. We sealed attic air leaks, improved and insulated the attic access, upgraded insulation levels, insulated knee wall areas, and installed insulation dams to keep materials properly contained. We also improved attic usability by creating better access and storage.

With these upgrades complete, Gina’s home now feels noticeably more comfortable. The upstairs stays consistent year-round, drafts are reduced, energy costs are lower, and the attic is easier and safer to access for storage and maintenance.

Foreman Mike Y. and his team air sealed the attic and properly insulated with cellulose insulation to R60 for optimum results. The owners utilized the attic for storage, so a large storage deck was built using SilverGlo foam insulation and plywood.

The end result was a much more comfortable home without attic mold.
