The Auditor performed a home energy audit to assess where air was leaking from the home. Our Production team provided air sealing to prevent future air leakage. They also installed cellulose insulation to the attic to helps with the home's overall comfort and help to lower the customers energy bills.

This has similar results to our 2 part closed cell spray foam and acts as a solid barrier that keeps air from passing from outside to inside.

Before this homeowner called Complete Home Solutions they were struggling with cold rooms and drafts in their home in D.C. Our Auditor went to the home and determined that the source of the uncomfortable temperatures was the lack of insulation in the home's attic.

The lack of insulation was causing the homeowners to spend too much money on heating and cooling because all of the home's air was seeping out through the attic. Our Production Team used blow in cellulose insulation to make the home more energy efficient and more comfortable for the homeowners. 

Tim's home had an addition added to it several years ago and was insulated underneath by old fiberglass batt insulation. After several summers, the boards covering the insulation had begun to fall out and the insulation was damaged by the moisture. Due to the insulation problems, the room above began to experience more humid temperatures in the summer and colder temperatures in the winter, and after yet another cold winter Amy had had enough and called Complete Home Solutions to assess the situation.  After examining the area, our Home Comfort Specialist recommended spray foaming the floor joist to create a solid insulated barrier underneath the home that would keep the outside elements and temperatures from affecting inside the home. Our Home Comfort Technicians did another fantastic job, and Amy was able to notice a difference immediately on the colder mornings.
