Comment: We have a wood stove in the basement. It can warm the basement but the heat doesn't go to upper level efficiently. Is it possible to add a hydronic system to deliver the heat to upper levels?

Comment: My attic bedroom summer so hot and winter so cool
Project Location: Hope Drive, Temple Hills, MD 20748
Comment: My basement will be low 60s when my first floor will be nearly 80. HUGE difference. The A/C unit sometimes doesn't stop running causing the basement to freeze, but the first floor never gets to temperature/unit remains running non-stop. I just bought the house, and I am terrified of the electricity bill.

Comment: Looking for a Energy Audit
Project Location: Crows Foot Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104
Comment: I've lived in this house ~1.5 years. It is ~3100 sq ft and was built in 1989. I'd like to make the house more comfortable. It's great in the summer, but the Winter not so much. A particular concern is that I've got a heat exchanger and duct work in the attic for one of my two heat pumps. There appears to be no insulation at all on the plenum in the attic and only R5 on the duct runs off the plenum.
