This Manchester, NY customer originally contacted Halco to service her water heater in her newly purchased home. During the service visit, the customer expressed her concern about the home being fully ready to handle the upcoming winter. Halco service technician referred this customer for a no-cost energy audit, where our energy advisor gathered information about existing insulation, air infiltration, HVAC systems and much more. From the audit and recommendations, the customer had her old, inefficient furnace replaced with this new, high-efficiency furnace, along with some insulation and air sealing work. These improvements will ensure that this customer has a comfortable and warm winter in her new home!

This long-time Halco customer was in need of a 200 amp electrical service upgrade, so they gave us a call. We removed the existing 150 amp service and replaced it with all-new 200 amp equipment. We installed all new breakers and brought the grounding up to code!

This homeowner has hopes to finish this attic into usable space. After performing an energy evaluation, we realized there were a lot of leaks causing uncomfortable temperatures and expensive energy waste! We used spray foam insulation along the ceiling and gable ends. Now the homeowner has a more comfortable attic, already air sealed and insulated- it's ready to be finished!

This is one of two air-source heat pumps installed for a Hector, NY customer. The heat pumps installed in this home are ductless split systems that, like air conditioners, have compressors and coils that the can evaporate and condense refrigerant. Unlike air conditioners, they are designed so you can reverse the cooling cycle, and move heat from the outside to the inside of your home. Air-source heat pumps have become a popular retrofit system for households that have non-ducted heating systems in place. All noisy components are outside of the living space and the customer's windows remain unobstructed.

This Clifton Springs, NY customer contacted Halco for an estimate on replacing his very old steam boiler. After properly sizing a new system, we installed a natural gas steam boiler that included a prefabbed riser, header and hartford loop. An automatic water feed was also included in this installation.
